Kitchen Reds
Top: plump and sweet cherries in my huge wood bee bowl - which I bought at a yard sale for $2. Bottom: the tiles in my kitchen are a light, buttery yellow, with bold red tiles along the edges - it's very retro.
I tell you what, I bought some cherries the other day at the local market and I can't stop eating them. They're fresh and ripe. Thanks for the picture.
A very lovely colour! The cherries I'm very wistful for - can't wait for summer! That bee bowl is a real find too! I love it when you unexpectedly hit the jackpot when out browsing yard sales!

Mmm, cherries! Your kitchen sounds adorable. :)
We are eating so many cherries! LOL those tiles look very familiar too, I think 50% of the houses I've lived in have had some variation.
J ELAINE - we'll go to many of them when you visit me...
MARCI - me gustaria mucho ver una foto de tu hija...
DEBRA - well, yes, but I try to eat only what's in season.
i love yard sales...and what great tiles..
Mmmm.. cherries. That pic has made me hungry. ;)
Mm (:
And I love that shade of red - it's not as harsh as the primary color, as it is a bit softer and richer!
bisous,
La C.

It's very costly here in Malaysia... about 60 Malaysian Ringgit per kg... but I still bought them because they are so irresistible...
LA COUTURIER - yes, exactly, it's a very rich red, very warm...
MIRIAM - I'm planning on showing more from my home, including the pretty tiles in my bathroom.
LENORENEVERMORE - your comment made me laugh out loud! It's so true!
ROYAL T LADY - but you have many other wonderful fruit in Malaysia!
