Istanbul, birds and Madeleine - I love them all. Isn't non-fiction incredible? It's 10pm and that coffee makes me want to go and get one.

PATTI - oh no, I didn't! I love making scones, as my grandma shared with me a FABULOUS recipe given to her by an English lady, but I don't bake much these days. I had those scones at Huckleberry in Santa Monica, CA.

Have you read Orhan Pamuk's My Name is Red? It is a wonderful read.

I've also read Snow, but did not like it so much.
