Cat On A Ladder

Earlier this month, on the occasion of St Francis of Assisi's day, AUREA celebrated dogs; no sooner had I clicked Publish that guilt started gnawing at me - what about my feline friends? I envisioned a forest of revengeful claws looming in the distance. To make up for my oversight, here is a post devoted to Cats.
Above is a witty bowl (yes, a bowl can be witty) created from the wonderful Koide Studio (an Esty boutique). Kitty, kitty on the ladder, what are you looking at with such rapturous attention? Oh, I see, it's delicious goldfish...

And since we are on the subject of cats, I cannot not mention my sister's Petimoo, who lives the life of an Oriental princess at my sister's home in Dubai.

Ah yes my life of luxury. Thank you for featuring me in all my splendor.
But I do have a complaint. You see, your sister decided to foster two 7 weeks old kitties and well, they have no respect for me, their elder: they want to use my litter box, want to wack Taocito's tail (that's MY game), and cuddle next to my owner on the couch (that's MY spot). How can I make sure these 2 get adopted quickly so we can restore some order in this house?

I must admit to being a cat person through and through. Growing up, we always had a house full of kitties and I miss having one of my own. That bowl with the ladder is so cute, as is your sister's cat.

Oh, that is such an amusing bowl. There's something similar on my desk, sent by a friend last year in my "Christmas box"). Very cute, but I do like this handmade one better, of course.

Petimoo is adorable. I love black & white cats with pink noses.

GG will hold forth on Petimoo's problem later today/this evening. She's been quite cheeky the last 24 hours. Takes a lot of energy to be so devilish & therefore she's passed out somewhere. Off to see that she's not in trouble. Again.

PETIMOO - hmmm, I understand your plight... I'll need to think of a strategy for you.
Does Taocito have the same issues and if so, what cunning plan has he come up with to get the kittens out of his way ASAP?

VANESSA - well, I adore dogs but I would also love to have cats!

GIULIA - I am sure that Petimoo will be thrilled to hear some words of wisdom from La Gattina!

What a nice bowl ... you can tell yourself a story while you're drinking your tea .. wil you or will you not let the cat get the fish when the bowl is empty?????

Oh how lovely to see my stepsister Petimoo featured on your blog. I am glad to see you have taken a liking to the felines.
In response to your question, I don't mind the kitties as much. They are quite annoying though. They eat my food! Yes, true story! And they chew on my fur. They sometimes play with my toys too. No respect I tell you. But it's not as bad as for Moo. They chase her around the house and try to steal her chair (which use to be MY chair FYI). Oh well. I tell ya, just ignore, ignore, ignore.

LAURA - I am surprised that Petimoo's message has not elicited a reaction from you...

TAOCITO - as always, I admire your wisdom and fortitude. You are not ALL fluff, dear poochy.
