A Message From Benjy

Dear readers!
Many of you, from as far as South Africa, have asked if I had gone to Cannes with my assistant, Mary-Laure. I am of a meditative, if playful, nature, and could not possibly stand the frenzy on the Croisette and down the red carpet, so I stayed in Paris.
I was happy to be reunited with my dear assistant (and her soft Lucien Pellat-Finet cashmere shawl, see picture above) and am now back in the blogging business: if you have a question about lifestyle, fashion, Paris or anything, don't hesitate to post it in the Comment section. The Oracle always answers!

Also, some of you have asked about that bite a colossal dog inflicted on me last month, and the subsequent skin infection that left me with a bald patch on my neck for some time; I am happy to report that I am as good as new! My hair grew back shiny as ever and somehow to my assistant's chagrin, I am still fearless in the face of big dogs...
Benjy

So Benjy, you did not learn the lesson! Never fight with a fierce looking dog that is ten times bigger than you!

good to hear Benji is fine again, poor thing.
about July, well, we are decorating our home, so we are not going anywhere. But in August I have got a wedding in Versailles, and I think from there, we leave our son with the grandparents, and we will go on a week vacation, after all the house business, it's something necessary! Preferably a hotel with a spa....

Do you have anything planned for summer?

Hey cousin Benjy! Glad to hear you're in shape again. So has your innocent paw drawn the name of the winner of the goody bag? Pick me! Pick me!

LAURA - I fear neither big dogs nor boars! I can take on any Beast, 2 or 4 legged...

SOLANGE - I think Mary-Laure will visit her sister in Amsterdam and some friends in the South of France; I am afraid any greater travels would be out of reach for her means right now!

NANCY B - I'd love to hear more about your cat!

TAOCITO - I don't think you need Caviar Eye Pads, but tell your little mistress that SHE will get plenty of goodies soon...

Thanks for your comment on my blog, about my niece. She is so crazy and therefore takes the funniest pics. :)

Benjy's pretty cute too!

Well...his name is "Stevie", (he was named after Steve Mc Queen) because like him, he does his own stunts. ;) And he is 4 months young,

Dear Benjy,

Will Imelda Matt win the $40 million dollar 'power' lottery draw tomorrow night?

Benjy, so glad to see you back and every happy you're doing well. We have a question here from Jack in New York. How is the weather and how do you do with the heat. Personally Jack is not a fan. What is your favorite way to cool off in Paris?

IMELDA - I'm afraid your chances are slim to none, with an emphasis on NONE...

KWANA - great question!!! I will answer in my next column on this blog. Kind regards to Jack...

IMELDA - the Oracle always speaks the truth...

PVE DESIGN - does this mean you will be visiting Paris this summer? I'd love to meet you!
I'll keep my floppy ears open about an apartment. I recommend you check out the website vivastreet.fr (French equivalent of Craigslist), and today's Frugal Traveler article about Paris in the NYTimes...
