Weekend Dahlia

I have time and again featured beauties from one of my favorite flower shops in Paris, Le Bois d'Auteuil on the rue d'Auteuil (16eme arrondissement). Here's a look at yet another stunning bouquet - dahlias, I'm told...

It is dahlias...gorgeous! used to grow them but I gave up cause we had to dig the roots out for winter...the roots look almost like small potato...

Dahlia's are one of my favorite flowers!
My sister-in-law lives on that street.... I wonder if she is near that florist. I know she lives next to one of the best bakeries, know for the premier baguette!

FIFI - I hope you'll show me the result!

MARIE - I adore the smell of jasmine, your grandma's garden must be heavenly.

SANNE - I agree, there's nothing like a fresh bouquet to make a room feel happy and lively.

PVE - how AMAZING, what a coincidence! What number do they live on?

MY CASTLE - thank you, I'm feeling better. I also like making infusions with fresh ginger, it's very good for infections, you know...
