Awesome pictures! I was wondering how he was adjusting to life in SoCal. I adore those paw shots! Norman enjoys the beach but is a little wary of the water. Don't know if you know this but there is a dog beach in Huntington. I did a post about it during the summer. It is chaotic but the dogs are fun to watch.

Hi how are you? I was looking through your blog and found it very interesting to me. As an artist here in Southern California I appreciate a variety of artistic expression.

Having said all that I would like to invite you to become friendly with me here in my San Diego blog, and comment.

You may also see that many of my labels are unique in artistic expression and always at least a music video and other aspects.

I hope you will stop by,
take care

Benjy likes the beach, I think. So he didn't have to go through a quarantine, obviously....I just thought of that.

My first time leaving a lil' message... What wonderful pics! Just what I needed after another gray day here in my beloved Paris.

your signature "tilt"
works really great on the beach... i have Joni Mitchell in my mind looking at the little toe prints of the Oracle...

Paradise Cove is a much prettier place now that it has Benjy to leave his decorative paw prints on the beach.

And, Tess is so happy to be able to play and share sniffs with her new friend.

Of course, I simply loathe having Benjy reside in such close proximity.

Does it show?

"Benjy!"

"How are you, Benjy-boy?"

"Whatcha doin', Benjamin?"

SEALAURA - I am adjusting just fine! Like Norman, I am a bit wary of the water but who knows, maybe one day I'll take the big plunge.
Thanks for the tip about Huntington beach!!!

KWANA - well, it was my first time. Maybe one day Jack will enjoy that sand, and that sea air that New Yorkers are do deprived of.

KAI - yes I am having a great time. I love CA.

D. MOLL - as a dog coming in from Europe, I did not have to endure a quarantine, fortunately. All I needed was my rabies shot certificate, but anyhow, the kind customs' officer just waved us by and ta-da, here I was in America.
It's mostly islands like Australia, Japan, the UK and Singapore that enforce strict quarantines even on pets coming from rabies-free countries.

Su-Su - thanks for commenting for the first time, I love hearing from bloggers! I just moved to LA from Paris, actually.

MANSUETUDE - ah, we love Joni Mitchell too, especially when she sings about California...

CANDACE - I miss Tess, my playpal!

I envy you, your deserted beach! *sigh*

RITVA - well, snow IS beautiful at least... I like it better that a rainy, all-gray winter. No?

Benjy!

It's only been one day, but it already seems as if a week has gone by since the two of us got to touch noses. So, what are the latest smells at the cove? Heard any good barks lately?

I have to admit that it's great to be home and sleeping in my own bed again, but... I pawsitively miss the cove, especially being able to run freely on the beach.

What's that? I think I hear my leash rattling. Praise the great dog! It's time for my walk!

::woof::

I might not be back at the cove until next month, little brother. So, think of me from time to time, eh? And, remember to keep your nose wet and your tail wagging!

Sweet little foot prints. Large cast of a shadow. Gosh I miss that beast!

Tess...

woof!

I miss you! My little playpen is lonely without you and your bouncing around.
I still run around a lot, make sure I'm the boss here, but it's just not the same.

Visit me soon! We have yet to visit the beach together and, who knows, with your encouragements maybe I will finally dive into the Pacific Ocean?

Woof!

Is Benjy the world's most loved dog? He should be!

Gorgeous pics. Thanks!

Elena:

I must agree with you about Benjy!

Even when he first arrived in Malibu completely exhausted and confused, he managed to steal my heart.

And, once I saw him all bright-eyed, bouncy and alert, I found him to be utterly adorable and irresistible!

mon Dieu! ce Benjy...heureusement que AKA Carlotta et Jennifer Elaine savent de quoi il est capable envers quelqu'un qui l'a heberge si souvent et meme partage une part de son fromage (non pasteurise)...

These are absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
