A Few Little Things

Breakfast time here in Provence ... oh, that scone looks delicious!
There is nothing like wholesome baked scones, particularly the American ones full of organic ingredients! I miss the early generation of vegan muffins and scones of my childhood... yummy!
That barbed wire bracelet- luv!!!
I remember you told me there's a'punkish' side in you...
~You have a great weekend beautiful!
I too am drooling over that scone. Last time I was in Santa Monica the market was packing up, I hope I can make it there one day soon. Hope you and Benjy have a fun weekend. Let's enjoy this unseasonal weather while ti lasts!
You have a knack for elevating the most simple to a thing of beauty. The true "soul of an artist." I, myself, observed a little girl in a toy store tickling the Elmo doll and giggling even harder than the doll each time. Enchanting!
Asian pears. :) I only discovered them at the beginning of last year. Rusty and I love them.
Clementines are my favorite tangerine, and they're just the right size for Selene.
That scone, now there's a tasty tidbit, which requires sampling.
(Side note: Tess treed the raccoon atop the telephone pole in the backyard at five this morning. The little "rascal" has raided the ponds for two nights in a row. He'll probably try raiding the ponds again tonight.)
J ELAINE - these scones are packed with seeds, which is super delicious and healthy. We'll have some when you visit me.
SEALAURA - I hope you can enjoy the market some time, it's really worth it. You can shop there on Wednesdays and Saturdays, in the morning.
SPANGLER - thanks again for the heart paperweight!
I gave my sister a Tickle Me Elmo years ago and we had hours of FUN.
CANDACE - next time you visit the Cove, I'll bring us back some scones from Santa Monica for a yummy snack.
The Racoon Saga continues...
The simple little things in life is what puts a smile on my face:-)
I really like that heart paperweight too!
have a lovely weekend!
x
Love the yummy photos!
Beautiful post! Elmo seems starving!
SOLVI - yes. that's exactly what I try to do on this blog, share the little wonders around me.
RINA - well, it was almost lunch time, and with all those delicious things around, anyone would feel hungry...
that scone looks so yummy :)
thanks for the link! xx
MARIE - I remember from our conversations in Paris that you like scones as much as I do!
I like your bracelet, I think I should wear one when I teach school, I might get more respect, or at least some quizzical looks.
D. MOLL - I didn't know you were a teacher. When I was teaching at a major (MAJOR) Ivy League school on the East Coast, I was known for wearing really cool vinyl pants, ha!
OOOOOOOOOOOooo that scone... delicious I am sure!!!!!!!!!!
Have to bake some soon...
great picture
ROYAL T LADY - I love baking scones too, and all baking really. Do share your scone recipe please...
