They look divine! I have yet to see such peaches appear in the Paris markets!

I know exactly where the peach trees grow in Bordeaux so that I can pick you some while on my walks this summer. Just past the fresh eggs from my friends, Alfred and Martine... 'nous avons tout dans notre petit paridise'!

J ELAINE - I am eager for us to go and pick peaches together around Lafitte.

Those look rather good!! We have some peaches in the store but mostly they are sour and not ripe. I love the fall when we get fruit from the Okanagan Valley here in British Columbia. Alberta is really a bit too cold to grow anything but some berries and hardy apples, but British Columbia has fabulous orchards....but, you do have to wait till like September.

i'm a georgia peach :)

well, i only lived there for the first 6 months of my life... but... peaches are so tasty so i'll claim it anyway!

Mary-Laure said...

HEIDI - yes, their fragrance was sublime in my kitchen.

RAINING SHEEP - it's SO difficult to find a truly delicious peach. Many are picked underripe to be shipped across seas and countries, so their never reach maturity.

SARAH - oh a Georgian peach pie! The bliss!

me encantan los melocotones, sobre todo su piel... :)

Mary-Laure said...

ESTI - que son los melocotones, "peaches"? En el Uruguay llamamos esta fruta "durazno"!

I just love how peaches look like bums and belly buttons. So funny.
