Lovely.
The tulips in my garden have come to their sad, droopy end.

(glad you enjoyed my list of books)

So pretty. They almost belong in my "pink houses" post (happy insects live in flower homes, no?).

Those are such gorgeous pink tulips! I don't know why I love them so much!

BETH - it's wonderful you grow your own flowers... I'm hopeless with plants.

MISS CAVENDISH - I suspect these tulips could house some very happy and hungry bees indeed.

NANCY - I can only encourage you to visit me here in balmy California.

JOYCE - yes, their texture is very special, delicate and soft.

i love tulips! have a great week!

Ilove them too! Here is a top tip that you may already know, is to give them very little water (4cm) to avoid them from growing and withering away to fast!

Mary-Laure said...

ARTYCHO - thanks for the tip, I had no idea!

Not long ago, I had some beautiful pink (just a shade darker than these) and pale green tulips in my garden. Now they have been replaced by tall purple allium!

Your blog is beautiful! Thanks for visiting mine, too.

M-L: I can always count on you for supreme loveliness, no matter how much time goes by between visits. I've been away for some time. So glad to visit today! The tulips are so pretty.

The fiddleheads....

They tasted woody - kind of like asparagus but earthier, dirtier...

Mary-Laure said...

BEE - I'd love to have a garden and grow flowers...

DIANAMUSE - you haven't been around in so long, it's great to have you back!

MARDI - I must find out more about those fiddlesticks... Merci pour tous les détails.
