Sesame Street T-shirt

Sesame Street is 40! The classic PBS children's show may be 40, but really, it is timeless. To celebrate its anniversary, American Apparel came up with a special line of t-shirts; I immediately got my little paws on one, of course.
For a little nostalgia and a good laugh, check out Sesame Street's YouTube channel.

Mary-Laure, Do you believe I watched when it started. I love Big Bird best. Or, maybe Kermit, or Elmo. Just wanted to say, I don't know how we met out there in blogland, but I'm happy we did and want to wish you a happy Thanksgiving.

DONNA - seriously? How great!
I cannot pick a favorite either - Big Bird? Elmo? Cookie Monster?
I wish you too a happy, warm, loving and delicious Thanksgiving.

Oh what a cute tee-shirt! I LOVE Sesame Street and Cookie Monster will always be my special guy. He was my son's favorite-I think may have something to do with it. I hope you have some nice plans for Thanksgiving. Such a special day and so much to be thankful for.

My fave is Cookie Monster, but my kids love Elmo. That is the cutest shirt. Must get one for myself too!

BETH - I know the feeling. I've been humming the theme song from Sesame Street for days now!

DEBRA - I love Cookie Monster too! Coooookies!
And Thanksgiving - a holiday I just love.

Ah Sesame Street, the nice people who taught kids around the US of A the alphabet... My owner still remembers a song about Elbows and Knees. Nostalgia indeed...

what a fantastic t-shirt! yo tambien lo veia de pequeña, y en españa se llama 'sésamo street' :)
i like the grey t-shirt, but the drawing (too cute!) seems clearer on the white one. did you see them both at the shop, or did you buy them online? also, is the white one thick enough not to be transparent,if you know what i mean? questions questions... :)
gracias!

hola otra vez. no, me he equivocado. se llamaba 'barrio sésamo'! no sé donde tengo la cabeza...

he encontrado esto:
USA: "Calle Sésamo", España: "Barrio Sésamo", Latinoamérica: "Plaza Sésamo", Brasil: "Pueblo Sésamo", y "Sé feliz Sésamo", en Sudáfrica

I loved watching Sesame street growing up! It was definitely a classic show! These t-shirts look really cool.

TAOCITO - you're going to have to sing that song for me.
