The Villa where we're staying, seen from the park and its sumptuous lobby.
In Tremezzo, by the Lago di Como... The village seen from the coast, the stairs leading to the preschool and steps that take you to the water.

THose steps that walk you into the lake are beautidul and inviting!
It looks so beautiful, those steps look so inviting!
I can't believe I'm going to ask this (it's so tacky), but I will. Have you seen George Clooney yet?
I like the off-kilter view of (some) pix, M-L.
ciao, bellissima
PS: Giulia la gattina waves paw-pads towards Italia....
GIULIA - ha ha ha, yes, everyone has been asking me about old George. The local paper this morning (La Provincia) claimed he was selling the house, though.
If I see him, I'll give him your regards and your Meow!
really nice pics. it seems you are enjoying italy. :-) good old europe.
sandy
Yep, if the offer to trade places with you were to arise, I'd accept.
Enjoy!
Mary-Laure, tell us what you're eating, is Benjy there too? Any new styles to comment on? I was in the Cinque Terre but Como looks very different.
DONNA - alas, Benjy is not with me but rather spending some time in Normandy by the sea....
I am enjoying a LOT of good food, especially ice-cream (amaretti, fior di latte, strataciella, yogurt....), pasta and gnocchi, as well as melanzane parmeggiana (I just adore eggplants), amaretti cookies and also tiramisu.
Everything is delicious. See my Tweets for more menu details!
Those steps are fabulous. So dramatic. All of the pics are gorgeous. I'm so glad I found you here - now I can "visit" all these great places through you.
ARLENE - yes, the steps are very inviting. Some people do bathe, actually!
Oh my! Talk about heavenly! You have taken some magical photos here - I want to come too! P.S. Yes, I have to ask the George Clooney question too of course!...he also has a pot bellied pig apparently so I'd settle for a sighting of him!
SAM - I'll keep you posted on any pot-bellied pig/Clooney sightings... Though the local newspaper was announcing a couple of days ago that he was selling his Villa!
Not sure how you found my blog but thanks for leaving a comment. :-) I really like the photography on your website!
