Here are some of my most recent Etsy purchases... This Alice In Wonderland Oversized Bow by
Zara Carpenter, made with some vintage cotton upholstery fabric (as if a naughty Alice had cut out a bow from her mama's fancy living room chairs...) has become my everyday accessory. I adore it so much that I may buy
this one too. In fashion-conservative, conformist Paris, people stare at my quirky bow on the street but I don't care.
My bloomers by
Under The Root have also become a staple. I love their candy colors and their old-style design. I think Lewis Carroll's Alice would like them too, no?

And finally, these exquisite vegan shoes (yes, that does exist!) by
The Generation, oriental style Mary-Janes; these flats are super comfortable, and perfect to run after a rabbit who dashes ahead as he mumbles "I'm late, I late..."

I love love your buys Mary-Laure! Love'em both so much I can't even pick a fave. I must have the bloomers though... so sexy and yet not. Adorable.
GABBI - exactly, they're sexy without being lace-fills-and-silk lingerie which I hate. They're fresh, adorable. Kind of naughty but nice. Glad you like them.
I love the headband (not looked at the other link yet). Very rabbit-like, as well (in good way:)which is appropriate, too.
But that could just be me seeing what I want to see.
ohhhhh, smooch and love and bugs..
imagination exists and you are the reason why.
Hello my dear......... gosh you look so lovely in the bow...... and I am so glad you like it :D
I wear my bows all the time and they seem to make people smile which is good as I think people need to smile and laugh more.
The bloomers are to die for.... I love love love them!!!
Take care
Zara x
UNDER THE ROOT - you're just too adorable. I adore what you make.
ZARA - it's great that you wear your own creations. You're like a walking advertisement!
Love those shoes of yours so very much... they are delightful. So very delightful.
"Fashion-conservative, conformist Paris"...is that the overall feel? Maybe that is why I never really feel the lust that other people seem to have for French fashion. :p
MURALIMANOHAR - yes, unlike London, Paris is very conservative, very classical (boring) when it comes to fashion. Wear something out of the ordinary and people stare. I never felt the sartorial freedom here that I feel in London. At least that's my take!
Well, glad to here it, lol! I was beginning to feel like I just had sucky taste that couldn't appreciate the true genius that is Paris fashion, lol!
I love them all! But those shoes...are wonderful! I so appreciate that you are comfortable stepping outside of the 'ordinary' box. You have a beautiful, spirited sense of style.
Have I told you how lovely it is to see you here? xox
I love your story! But like the rabbit .. I'm late, I'm late.
Oh, I'm so happy you're back! I have been so worried. Lovely buys.
Carina
What fun. I like your bloomers and your carefree spirit.
DENISE - glad you like the bloomers! They are adorable indeed.
The bloomers are delightful! They were made for a ballet dancer (like you)!
