During the holiday season, I send masses of Best Wishes cards. For one thing, I think it's a great way to stay in touch with people you don't get to see or communicate with regularly - it's a way of saying you still think about them. I also love it that it allows me to share some beauty and art with people. Last year, my holiday cards, from Paris's Musée de la Mode, showed off a 1920's pattern. This year, I will be sending some of Fifi's lovely flowers, as well as illustrations by Japanese artist Yoshimoto Nara, who celebrates blissful dogs and eerie, sometimes naughty girls who live in his very unique, personal universe. The problem, of course, is that once I just don't want to part from all those beautiful cards now...

How FUN to use Fifi cards for the holidays! Don't worry I have more... and you never know when I might steal more photos from your site to paint and SURPRISE you after the new year!

I am so proud to say that I actually 'made' my holiday cards. I took two of my favorite christmas photos I shot and had a small printer here turn them into blank note cards. It was not expensive and so cool. I guess I could have used Moo, but with the exchange 10 cards at moo is the same price as 30 done at my local print shop.

I wanted to make my own too, this year, but I didn't find the kind of blank cards I needed (lame excuse, I know).

I new and love Fifi cards but I did not knew the Japanese cards and they are incredible.

how nice holiday cards are, I also send them but sometimes I am a little late... love the way how handwritten cards still mean more then an email.

Wow, cards with Japanese people on them! Do any, perchance, include the timeless holiday greeting phrase of "From New Haven to New York by train, it takes about an hour and a half"?

My husband got me that Nara set a few years ago, and I have been loving them (and doling them out sparingly) ever since. I love Nara.
