March 3 is the birthday of my dear, dear sister. Here's a picture of her, in my mum's arms on the day of her very first birthday party, in Kenya, where my family moved just weeks after my sister was born.March 2 is Benjy's birthday - the beast turns 8! - while March 4 is the birthday of my wonderful friend Kelly.

What a divine little blond girl! Doesn't she look pretty with that little pout and this little blue dress!!! Awwwww. And mama looks so young and blond! Tell me, why do I always look slightly startled in the pictures?
Benjy doesn't look too shabby either I have to admit. But then again it's easy to look divine when you are an oracle with the shiniest coat!

Oh my owner would like to point out that she has incredibly grown since that picture was taken. Her hair is no longer blond (as previous posts will attest), her nose not a little button and her cheeks not those full round sweet child cheeks. Oh and she never wears dresses anymore.
She would however like to raise a point: Benjy has not aged a bit in the past 8 years. I, Taocito il Mougnou would like to suggest that the oracle might have made a pact with the devil for eternal youth. Blondie you with me on that one?

AGNES - I love that dress too, so perfect for sunny Kenya. I also find my sister's dress adorable. We had plenty of those Liberty print dresses.
SOLANGE - my sister will visit me in LA in May and that's when I'll take her shopping for a present. She loves fancy cosmetics and glamour.
For my friend Kelly, I got a great history/fashion book called "What Marie-Antoinette wore to the Revolution". It's more than just fashion babble, it's really relevant historically and sociologically! I read it last year and loved it.
