Deer Decal

Recently, I have been obsessed with foxes (blame Wes Anderson's fabulous adaptation of Roald Dahl' Fantastic Mr Fox) and deer, those graceful creatures of the forest. So my heart skipped a beat when, as I browsed through Etsy's shops, I discovered this deer laptop decal, designed by Tweet Heart. I promptly ordered it - after all, my dear MacBook too deserves a Christmas present.
Isn't it enchanting?

It's Bambi - and a friend!
I love seeing the deer when at the cottage but would not want to (and haven't yet) seen a fox.

Yes, I love it. Bambi and a friend :-). How cool.

BETH - how lucky you are! I'd love to see deer... As for foxes, they are really sweet creatures; I know several people who had unexpected encounters with those animals and those were always very happy and gentle experiences, with plenty of soulful staring at each other. Really!

Reminds me of how I was traumatized as a child watching "Bambi!"

GUPPY - From what I hear, I have the impression that E.T. and Bambi are the 2 movies that have traumatized most kids.
I can't really remember seeing either one when I was a child.

You know, when back when I lived in Ithaca (6 years ago... aka two decades in dog years) sometimes when I would exit my house on Mitchell street in the winter, I would find a few deers, casually strolling down the snow covered street. And being the feisty poochon that I am, I would run after them and show my owner how I was not afraid of taking on giants!

The sweetest! I think everything should be decked out this time of year. I love the way you celebrate this season and shop etsy!

TAOCITO - you and Bambi! What a lovely image this conjures up in my mind! You have had so many international adventures...

Indeed! Leaping through the snow to chase those lovely deers (the underside of their tail was white which was sooooo cute)
Remember the cows in Bali? The ones that were so graceful they looked like deers?

Super enchanting! I might just get one too.

TAOCITO - I had forgotten all about those cows in Bali, thanks for reminding me of their elegant grace. I suppose Bali is such a blessed, magical and exquisite place that even the cows are delicate.

ANGIE - oh do! It's only $7 and really so lovely!

nteresante página, me ha gustado mucho.Y los ciervos son tan divertidos!
Hace tiempo que tengo unas flores en mi pasillo, el problema es que después de dos años, se están despegando.
Un saludo

So cute.

ALISA - yes, Pippin was the loveliest deer ever... As delicate and graceful as Audrey herself.

MARCI - si, por eso es mejor usar "decals" en vez de "stickers". No se despegan facilmente para nada.

I'm lucky enough to have married someone whose name means 'baby dear'... how cool is that?
