Interesting set of images from your neighbourhood. I notice whenever I want to take photos against the sky those pesky wires are in the way....looks like you have even more of them.
Usually I find all of those wires sort of offensive-here they seem to spin an interesting web. The bottle opener- with twist-offs, cans, etc. will be obsolete-makes me want to search for one!
GIULIA - yes, the painting of his bedroom in Arles! That's so true - those bright colors, the yellow. Maybe that's why, unconsciously, that chair appealed so much to me.
Such interesting photos of your lovely neighborhood! Loving these photos especially the one with the sky! Have a lovely merry happy week and love to yoU!
I love your neighborhood. You're a lucky girl! Haven't been posting much lately but have though about your recently, as we have a new puppy who is part dachschund and part chihuahua. Named him Gershwin (after George & Ira). Come over to the blog and take a look at him - he's too cute.
Bien sur, cette toile d'araignee constituee de fils entrelaces ,ca m'a toujours choque partout mais, particulierement aux USA. Tu sais que j'aime l'ordre et ce fouillis de cables represente pour moi, un certain desordre, une va-vite..

I love the pale pink of the sky against the urban forest of wires. In France most cables and wires are underground, the views are so different!

Que contrastes donde vives!

JOYFUL - I usually hate those wires but for this pic I tried to work "with" them...
DEBRA - yes, don't you love that retro bottle opener? I'd like to have one too.
Mary-Laure, I understand what you mean about the wires. You did take a good shot of them.
Like the chair...the colors immediately brought to mind the chair in VVG's bedroom painting, the title of which eludes me at moment.
xo
Love that Coca Cola shot!

You continue to inspire me...finding beauty in the most mundane.

SPANGLER - beauty is everywhere if we look for it, don't you agree?

I love the chair...all of your shots, really. I think you captured some of the vibrancy I imagine is such a great part of LA.

Colorful and sweet shots! I love seeing pictures from where other people live. :)
ARLENE - oh, Gershwin, what a great name! I am zipping off to your blog this instant to check out your pup.
VINTAGE - thanks... I don't know why I found that chair so striking... Maybe its colors, its shabbiness... And it's true that it's "very LA".

Man, I love LA.
so nice view!
That chair is so cheerful. Love it!
Why do I love the flat-topped buildings and wire maze? They're so quintessentially California to me . . .
Interesting piccies!! Love that chair!
JL - you are so French...
REBEKKA - me too, me too!
I'm looking for a chair just like that for my desk!
