I look at these delicate flowers and then raise my eyes and look through my open window. It's 7 am but it's deep night, the trees are bare and a sharp cold comes in ... And then I want to come back to your photo of the Pacific Palisades!
Beautiful images~ Now what are you going to prepare with that ginger? The only pretty flowers around here are Christmas poinsettias and lots of paperwhites!
Ooooh! Reminds me of the delft porcelain from the netherlands... Hey oracle, I got a pawberry now so I can keep in touch! Though have to admit these keyboards are soooo not paw friendly, unless you're a chihuha and we all know chihuhas can't spell!
I saw you on Miss Cavendish and wanted to check your place out. I enjoy this juxtaposition! To see the almost ethereal blossoms translate seamlessly into the decorative makes me think of the artist's process, the work involved in capturing that essence.
DEBRA - I'm just grating some ginger to make tea.... It's so good! Sometimes I just add a little honey to make it sweeter. Yum!
TAOCITO - ah yes the Delft porcelain in the Netherlands is diviiiine. Your comment about the chihuahuas made me laugh, but beware of their revenge. They don't like being made fun of.
CLUELESS CRAFTER - welcome to AUREA! I love Miss Cavendish's blog, it's so smart and chic...
Lovely echo. How wonderful that you have flowers on trees now. Ginger. Mmm. Just minced a lot for tea. Gingersnap(colored) Giulia is asleep; bunches of primroses are in the apt. But flowering branches, not yet.

GIULIA - oh yes, ginger snaps, yum!
PENNYCONES - in Japan, every little thing is pretty, even the most basic grater.
The ginger grater is beautiful. If I had something like that, I would definitely be encouraged to cook more!
