I love French wallpaper, I noticed that in so many houses :) My aunt and her husband have a house in Brittany with almost the exact same wallpaper in one room.

I am loving these pictures from southwestern France...a part of France I have never been to, and would LOVE to go!!
JILL - yes, it is very beautiful around here. My favorite part of the region is called GASCOGNE, and that's where you should go if yu visit the area. There are many, many lovely villages all over Southwestern France, with AMAZING churches, such as the one in Bazas, a major historical landmark.
I would definitely like to get together next time I visit France - I'm planning a conference trip next year in June/July to Cambridge, and will probably pop over to Paris to see my aunt and cousins and have a bit of a break. We should meet up then!
Great set of photos! Love the Lizard in the jar. The Oracle shines. Does he share the ball, or is he the star player?
MANSUETUDE - Benjy is very much the star player but he loves nothing more than having a ball thrown for him to fetch. There are about 12-15 kids staying with us here in the castle, so Benjy is never, ever without a fan/pitcher...
