GIULIA - mum bought some of those squash to decorate her balcony with an autumn touch! I can't believe it's so hot in DC! Temperature is in the 60's here in LA.

GABBI - I am not sure. According to Giulia, those are strawflowers: Bracteantha bracteata Common Names: strawflower, everlasting daisy, golden everlasting Family: Asteraceae/Compositae (aster/daisy Family) Maybe I'll ask my mum, too.
