Gorgeous, M-L.
Hydrangeas in the macro? Love the callas, the strawflowers, too. & lest we forget, it is getting on to be winter squash season. Thank you for reminding us...though it is the 90s here today. Eep.
JILL - yes, I had quite an amazing summer!
GIULIA - mum bought some of those squash to decorate her balcony with an autumn touch!
I can't believe it's so hot in DC! Temperature is in the 60's here in LA.
hydrangeas might be some of my favorite flowers.
PINKIES - yes, me too, that's why I placed that picture first!
HI Mary-Laure

JULIE - ah, you're lucky it's spring in your part of the world! It's my favorite season. I'm eager to check out your flower post.
flowers, I love its colors, shapes, textures ... and sometimes smell.
Beautiful! Do you know what kind of flowers those are in the last photo Mary-Laure?
GABBI - I am not sure. According to Giulia, those are strawflowers:
Bracteantha bracteata
Common Names: strawflower, everlasting daisy, golden everlasting
Family: Asteraceae/Compositae (aster/daisy Family)
Maybe I'll ask my mum, too.
