oh yes, that is gorgeous! love it.
Gee, you come up with so many ideas ... amazing!
did you make that? ooh. see, i would love one of these but i would never have the patience to make one.
i still want a real typewriter, the kind that sylvia plath had, that was portable. i wonder if i could find one with working thread.
Just amazing!!!
Snobber,I most certainly did NOT make that - I wish I could have. It was a present.
I'd like an old typewriter but not to use it, just for decoration...
And by the way, Plath is one of my favorite poets ever...
it is beautiful!
a friend of mine has a ring made from an old typewriter with her initial on it. Also very cool.
don't even recycle it, use it instead of computers!
my friend recently bought one and sends everyone typed letters :)
great blog, wanna link up?
Lily, it's so cool that your friend not only has a typewriter but also USES it!! It must be hard to find the inked tape these days, though...
But I would love to have one again - I had one as a kid, or rather, I used my mum's...
ooh, cute!
what a great idea!

ps. lovely blog you have here
I love to bring new life to old things. Otherwise, they are just old dead things. (And yes, I know that things are really dead, but if you could make a bracelet of your late grandmother's typewriter keys, certainly she would live again each time you wear the bracelet!) Clever, clever.
Wow! That was a brilliant idea! ;)
i love this! i have a thing for typewriter keys too. i recently found a set of stickers that look just like typewriter keys, and i'm planning on making some magnets (or maybe something else too!).
I received cufflinks this year for christmas made from recycled typewriter keys with my initials!! charming!
